Welcome to Yafit — a charming moshav at the foot of Mount Sartaba, established in the early 1980s by immigrants from France. Over the years, we’ve grown into a vibrant community of around 60 families, an authentic and diverse Israeli community strategically located at the southern crossroads of the Jordan Valley.

We’re proud to present our expandable home model: a smartly designed home tailored for growing families. The house is uniquely positioned at the edge of the plot, allowing for future expansion from 80 square meters up to 220 square meters without compromising garden space. This is a smart investment that lets you start small and expand your home as your needs and finances grow.

Daily life

The moshav features a refreshing pool for summer days, a synagogue, and a mikveh. A new commercial center is currently under construction nearby, which will include a large supermarket, a modern business hub, and restaurants.

Education

Yafit residents benefit from convenient access to top regional educational institutions. Elementary students attend Gafnim and the religious Tamar School, both just a short 5–10 minute drive away within the Jordan Valley Regional Council’s education complex. High school students continue their studies at Yarden School in Ma’ale Efraim, about a 10–15 minute commute. Religious girls can choose from two excellent ulpanot, located in Moshav Hamra and Moshav Gitit
